Pickens County Tea Party Issues an S.O.S.........

6/30/2010 - Nearing the 234th birthday of America, the Pickens County Tea Party issues an S.O.S. to all citizens who have finally had enough and want to SAVE OUR SOCIETY (Way of Life). In another effort to make everyone aware of what the Tea Party is about, the Lions' Club annual fair and fireworks event at Lee Hawkins Park July 29th through July 3rd gives a new way to get involved. What is more American than a fair with booths, games, and rides.

So, look for the Pickens County Tea Party booth. No, there is nothing for sale. Everything is free! We just want you to stop by and meet Americans just like you who have a concern for our way of life and the values of the American Republic form of government as designed by our forefathers so long ago. This would be their kind of venue-a chance to meet friends and neighbors and discuss the issues at hand. We have brochures, flyers about our next meeting, give-away goodies, sample ballots (Democrat & Republican) for our election on July 20th, a fun Constitution Quiz for you to take home and try, and registration for a raffle with a great gift for you. To EDUCATE-INFORM-MOTIVATE is the cornerstone of our mission and this is how we feel we can show you the true facts about your Pickens County Tea Party. So stop by and say hello. Give us a chance to share with you about this great country we have and the ways that WE THE PEOPLE can get back to the foundations of true freedom we are celebrating July 4th. "Betsy Ross" is expected to visit on Saturday. Also, look for us in the Lions' Club parade in downtown Jasper July 3rd.

Remember our July 27th meeting at 7 p.m. at the Chattahoochee Technical College. Come here a true story of what it means to become an American from Tony Orta. Remember that wearing RED-WHITE-BLUE is always proper attire!!!! Celebrate America, it is your birthday!
